  • Saturday May 4th - National Homebrew Day - GROUP BREW AT LUCID BREWING
  • SMASH beer recipes, instructions and assignments handed out  - 38 bottles due at July meeting for exchange and tasting.  Recipes posted in the members only section.
  • Crispin Cider Company - Presentation & Tasting.  Great success, tasted 9 different ciders with many interesting characteristics - Belgian and Pilsner yeasts, Barrel aged, Blended, Backsweetened with honey and more.  They make 19 different ciders at present.
  • Website hosting renewed for another 12 months.

  • White Elephant gifts - BREWING RELATED (no Partridge Family Album giveaways...).
  • Rare Beer tasting extravaganza - bring a bottle from your collection of hard to find beers for tasting at the party.  If you brought the beer, you get the first pour to ensure you get a chance to taste your selection.  Only couples that bring beers may participate in the tasting.  No homebrew - commercial beer only.  Should be something that is not distributed here, and is hard to find - the point is to give folks an opportunity to taste beer they have not had before.  Expectation is that you will bring 2-12 ounce or one 750ml/Bomber (22oz) bottle to share.
  • Homebrew exchange - bring your beer to exchange with other interested members, this is a 1 for 1 exchange.
  • Club is paying taxes and tip, and providing $100 toward wine for the non-beer drinkers.
  • Cost is $7.50 per person - taco bar.
  • Please contact Kevin so we can get a decent count in advance.

    • Category 15A - Weizen/Weissbier.  Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier - the first choice in reference samples for this category.
  •      Mead making project for Mike - one of our new brewers.
